THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE EARTH AND The GREAT PYRAMID of GIZA

The Earth from the ATS spin scan camera

The Perimeter of the Great Pyramid is almost exactly 30 arc seconds on the Polar Circumference of the Earth

The Earth is not a perfect sphere and the polar circumference measured locally is a little less as you approach the equator.

The perimeter of the Great Pyramid of Giza which was very accurately measured by Petrie and Cole in the 19 century is about 0.25 percent shorter than one would measure at the latitude of Giza.

Strange as it may seem, its perimeter is within 33 parts per million of the value at the equator, measured by NASA in 1984 using satellite data.

Did the Egyptian’s just get lucky? or did they accurately measure the Earth.

We may never Know.
